Manager of Special Projects: Venus Brown
The IDA program prepares participants to become more financially independent. Participants in the IDA program will save $1,000.00 and have it matched up to *8:1 for purchasing a first time home, starting or expanding a small business or secondary education.
Clients that participate in the IDA program will:
- learn to build and maintain financial assets
- acquire knowledge to purchase a first time home, get an education or start/expand a small business
- learn how to navigate through the credit repair process
In order to apply for the IDA program you must:
- complete one of DEI's 11-week core training programs
- have your name added to the participant's eligibility list
- be willing to commit to saving on a regular basis
- be ready to obtain your asset within one year
There is no cost for the IDA program.
